Service was Terrible

This hotel gave away our room because we arrived late at night, even when we had specifically requested a late arrival notice and told them when we were coming. They did not seem to care. One of the workers named X told us that if we wanted our room that we reserved the next day we would need to be in the hotel at 12 or call them. He would not even take care of it himself. The next night we requested more pillows, after an hour and a half, we went to bed with no extra pillows. I was extremely dissappointed with the service at this hotel. I will not be staying there again.

Excellent choice

We stayed here while visiting our son in Chicago. We found our stay at the Spring Hill Suites to be very pleasant. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bed is the most comfortable we've ever slept in! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Every morning they have an extensive complimentary breakfast with a nice assortment of hot and cold breakfast items. The free parking is a nice plus. The hotel is within walking distance to the city subway system. Outback restaurant is attached to the hotel. There are also some nice little restaurants a couple blocks down the street. It's a nice affordable choice not only for business people, but families too. We'll definitely stay here on our next visit.

Always well run

I've stayed here several times on short trips to Chicago. It is convenient both to the airport and to downtown via the Blue Line El (though a bit of a hike on foot from the station, a factor if the weather's bad or your mobility is limited). The rooms are always clean and well-kept, surprisingly quiet considering the hotel's proximity to the busy interstate, the staff professional (this last visit was the very first time I've run into a clerk who was somewhat less than impeccably polite and helpful), and the breakfast bar well-stocked, though crowded at peak hours. The price is always surprisingly reasonable considering all you get. Definitely a winner.

EXCELLENT FOR THE PRICE!!! ITS A STEAL!!!

We were so pleased with this hotel!!! It was a little far from the city, but we rented a car so we had our own transportation. The staff was friendly, when we checked in they asked if we had a floor preference, my hubby requested the top floor w/ a view of the city and they gave it to us! Then they gave us maps of the CTA and city and directions to the train. The room was beautiful. We felt we were getting more for our $$. It had a fridge and microwave with a sink and cabinets, desk and seating area. The bed was so comfortable. The hot breakfast is awesome. eggs, sausage, all breads, muffins, bagels you would want with a toaster available. they have 3 or 4 kinds of waffles you make fresh. not to mention all the juice, milk, cold & hot cereal, fruit, yogurt, fruit cups-everything and you can take it with you! The business center is very useful especially if your from out of town because you can use the internet and print out maps-free. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

There was not enough parking for this hotel. This was the main thing that was negative. Also, the pool was not open on Sunday morning.
