No shower or bath that worked and the hotel was not able to have it repaired during my visit.

We have been staying at Microtel in Eire for years. Every year we come up for our weekend shoping trip this is the hotel of choice the price is always right and the staff is freakin awesome. The rooms are cozy and welcoming after a long day of shoping and traveling. I will always give this place 2 thumbs up.

My wife and I travel to Erie quite often to enjoy Presque Isle State Park. This was the first time that we stayed at this motel. The staff was friendly, room clean and the location very close to many restaurants and activities. Our only complaint would be that the advertised free popcorn never was prepared all weekend. Also, the complimentary breakfast consisted of fruit, bagels, and juice but no pastry or cereal was offered.

My husband and I were in Erie for a funeral and stayed overnight at the Microtel Inn. The first (non-smoking) room we were placed in had a smoke smell, so the staff moved us to a room next door. This room was very nice. The air conditioning worked well, the staff was friendly and quick to respond to inquiries, the room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable (the hotel is in the process of being remodeled and the new white bedding is great). I would definitely recommend this hotel as long as you don't require a large room.

I stayed at this motel in early May when I had to pick my sister from college. Very low rates make it great for penny-savers, however you get what you pay for. The beds aren't that comfortable, the rooms are small, and they do not provide toiletries other than a single bar of soap. Breakfast bar was very scanty; small packaged muffins and bagels with juice and coffee. I might stay here again if I must make a solo trip to Erie, but would rather stay at a more upscale facility.
