When I first arrived, I was greeted by the UNFRIENDLIEST desk clerk I have encountered in a long time. I had reserved a non-smoking room but when I arrived to my room, as soon as I opened the door, the strong smell of cigarrettes surrounded me. When I went back to the front desk, they insisted that it was a non-smoking room and there could be no smoking in that room. I finally convinced someone to check the room. After waiting for approximately 20 minutes, I was given another room.
I will never stay at this hotel again.

I really enjoyed being at this hotel. It felt safe being there. I would have personally trained some of the staff on having great PR skills if I had the time. However, I love the beds and the Cookies are marvelous! The hotel has beautiful room decore and the beds are so "comfy". I slept like a baby.. I enjoyed the shuttle service to the hospital as well. Thanks to those people at Doubletree that went out of their way to be hospitable while I was there. :0)

a nice, clean hotel convenient to downtown with a Starbucks across the street. Very friendly staff!

This hotel would have been perfect for the price and location but there was a little bit of construction mess. The updates are BEAUTIFUL and the rooms are some of the best looking I've ever stayed in - worldwide. The beds are really fantastic. Down feathers everywhere! And the staff is super nice and helpful.
