My daughers softball team stayed here during their tournament. We were not in the room much due to the games; but the time that we were there was very nice. Loved the floor plan of the room. (living room was seperate form the bedroom, a television in each room) We had no complaints about our room. I didn't get a chance to tour the rest of the hotel. When we were at the pool the train did seem to go by alot but when we were in our room we could not here it. I would definatley stay here again. The staff was VERY nice also.

Very nice property, clean and new. Friendly, competent staff. However, even with a courtyard room, the noise from the train is an issue. Also, the breakfast buffet could have benefitted from more attention. Try the "City Grill" (IIRC) for an excellent home-made breakfast (They got grits!).

Originally built as an Amberley Suite Hotel, it is now a Country Inn and Suites.
The only hotel located in the downtown historic district and is in easy walking distance of shops and restaurants.
