The place is in a great location - convenient to two major freeways and public transport.
Breakfast is fantastic - if you don't have to pay for it. It took a bit of convincing that my breakfast was included with my booking.
Exercise room OK - and they improved the situation I previously encountered where there was no towels nor water cups (had to bring from my room).
Internet access is a joke. I complained to management several times. On one occation I had an emergency at work at 1:00 am - instead of being able to get on-line fixing the issue in half an hour and going back to bed, I ended up having to take a cab to the office (not an easy thing to do in Dallas in the middle of the night). I don't think I'll be coming back to this hotel again just because of this situation

This hotel was very played up to be much more than it is. The entry is nice and clean, landscaping well kept and the parking lots well lit. We were able to park on the side of the building, very close to the front every time we arrived back at the hotel. The inside hallways were carpeted, and badly needed to be vacuumed. The carpeting at almost all the doorways was coming up, exposing the carpet padding underneath. Our room was booked two weeks in advance, and yet upon our arrival, our door key did not work. So, we had to go back down to the first floor (we were on the fourth) and let customer service know. They believed we did not know how to work the door key (Really? Not rocket science) but did provide us with the front desk number to call from our cell phones if the door continued to not work. As it was, maintenance met us to re-program and deliver a new battery for the door. Once inside the room, it was a nice surprise to see how clean and well kept it was. The bed was uncomfortable, and the shower head was not attached to the shower wall. The pipe was actually inside the shower quite a bit, but was still functional. Posted room rates for season are $* and up per night, and I am very relieved to say I did not pay near that amount, or I would have been asking for my money back. The hotel did have a computer we could print out our boarding passes for free. All in all, customer service was excellent, but next time, I think I will stay at another hotel.

The hotel was very loud, throughout the night and early in the morning. Walls and carpet throught the halls and rooms were stained. Room service came 3 days out of the 6 days I was there. The lobby is very nice, but after you pass through the lobby it looks like a completly different hotel. Our keys quit working TWICE and they also messed up my reservation and put me in a wrong room. Will not stay here again.

Hotel seemed to be under upgrades, new carpet, new base boards, and fixing up some walls and rooms. Ordered the strawberries and wine 4 times and never received them. We did get a very good free breakfast on both days because of the mix up. The hotel also credited us back $50.00 because of the mess up. The staff at the hotel are excellent, they try very hard to help you and make things right. If your room is by the elevators, asked to be moved, all you will here is the elevator thru your room walls all night and day. This makes for little sleep.
