After being told the Red Roof Inn was one of a handful that did not allow pets, we called around and got a Quality Inn, which didn't allow pets, but gave us the number for the one that did. Decent, clean rooms. Pet Friendly, which was the main selling point. No Restaurant or Pool. It looks like the remainder of what used to be a nice hotel, but the rooms were clean and cheap.

I had booked this hotel and indicated that I was bringing my pup. When we came back to the hotel after being out for the evening we had to go to the front desk as there were complaints about my pup. A wedding party was being held immediately next to our room with all guests staying on the same hallway as us. Apparently she barked at all the traffic up and down the hall and knocking on doors and the wedding party complained. They charged us DOUBLE the pet fee, even though the loud party music continued until midnight and THEY were the ones who chose to place us in the middle of a party floor with a dog. We have stayed at other hotels numerous times and NEVER had a problem. They say they are pet friendly but they do not know how to accomodate people with pets. This is a PARTY hotel, not a family friendly place.

If you just want a place to crash and be near the boardwalk, this is the place. They have a safe in the room which was handy and the staff was courteous. The gym and fitness center was good size with plenty of equipment to use. There's also a golf shop which was pricey but if you need something in the pinch you're in luck. I would park at the front of the hotel because the sides and back are not well-lit and weren't crowded with other vehicles. Overall, good value for the money.
Nice hotel not far from city

I spent one night there and it's a nice hotel. It's not far from the city and is easy to find. Staff was very nice and even late at night, the man at the counter was kind when I went to pay for snacks. There's no vending machines, but there are novelty items in the main lobby. Breakfast was nice and the staff there was friendly as well.
