Once again, we enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham.......this is our 3rd year in a row and we'll be back next year! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The front desk went out of their way to check airline baggage restrictions for us and the courtesy desk was helpful with recommending restaurants. This hotel is situated right on International Drive and is very convenient to literally a hundred restaurants, miniature golf, dinner theater and Disney of course. It's beautifully landscaped with lagoons, little bridges, well-kept palms trees, flowers, walking paths etc.etc.etc. The pools are wonderful and best of all is that they're open 24/7 as is the hot tub. My only small complaint would be that said hot tub is hard to get into at night because it's usually filled with college-age kids who monopolize it for hours. Not a big deal though. The hotel also has a fitness center complete with sauna and steam room. The rooms themselves are standard hotel rooms but the bedding is wonderful. They are a bit 'old fashioned' in that there's no microwave or refrigerator. You can rent a fridge for $15 a nite.......a bit high. We made do with an ice chest. I'd like to see the Wyndham upgrade their rooms to include both fridge and microwave.
We go to the Wyndham for rest, relaxation and a little pampering and we haven't been disappointed yet! The main draw for us are the pools and the fact that you can swim at nite. The pool complex also has an ice cream shop and ping pong and pool tables. Oh there's also a nice pool side restaurant/bar and wait staff will take your order and deliver it to your pool-side chaise lounge - doesn't get much better than that!
The hotel room was horrible

We were in orlando for a convention,so it was late and we were tired when we got to our rooms to retire for the night. upon waking our throats were sore and we could hardly breathe. we noticed MOLD GROWING on the ceiling. The coffee pot did not work, and there were BLACK BUGS crawling under the beds. We were told by the front desk there was nothing they could do for us!!!!!!!!!!! With a name like Wyndham we expected much more, We spoke to a few of the people who also stayed there and the mold and bugs were also a problem in there rooms. What a shock to us. There are many places I have stayed in orlando,as we live in Florida. Never have been treated like this, and have stayed a less expensive hotels. Never bugs or mold!!! beware of the Wyndham

Im used to staying @ beautiful spacious nice hotels. When I arrived, I was soooooo disappointed!!!! This was my 1st trip to Orlando & it wasnt that great. This hotel reminds me of a "MOTEL"!!!! We had to switch rooms because the 1st room was soooo small, smelled like mold, water seeping through the vents on the outside & the radio didn't work in either room. The 2nd room was a lil more spacious but I still wasn't happy overall. The only thing nice about hotel is the Pool Area (that was beautiful) & the staff were nice.
Please do NOT stay here

First, our door did not lock, then the tub did not drain. For a day we had no water. There were no normal room acccomodations, such as a microwave, fridge, and the vending machines didnt even work. Only thing that was decent was the pool area.
