The hotel room was very clean and nice. I don't prefer that area of Chicago, but the park being right across the street is great. Also lots of museums within walking distance. I didn't spend any time in the lobby or pool so I cant comment on that, but housekeeping was very good.

This hotel is wonderful for a family vacation in Chicago. The service is excellent and the rooms are nicely decorated, updated and clean. The location is perfect for sightseeing - right on Michigan and close to the museum campus (Shedd, Field, Adler) and also the Art Institute, Sears Tower and downtown. Buses were easily accessible just across the street with El stations within walking distance. We stayed for 4 nights with our 2 children. Their grandparents also went along and the hotel conveniently placed them right across the hall. The price is great as well.

We loved this hotel...it was right across from Grant Park. The rooms were modern, must have been recently updated. The pool was cold, but the water was clean and the fitness room overlooked the pool. There was a small gathering area outside the pool area to watch the fireworks display at night. It was not exactly in the heart of the shopping, but it wasn't too far away.
Great location!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was very central and easily accessible by bus and subway. We were only a few blocks from the Art Institute and the Museum campus. However, the hotel restaurant was pretty mediocre, the bathroom in our room was very small and there was no fridge in our room. Overall it was great for the price.
