Park Hyatt Chicago

One of the most luxurious hotels in the downtown area., it's perfectly situated right on the Magnificent Mile and from all the major attractions, such as the Sears Tower, the Hancock Observatory, the field museum, the Adler Planetarium, and Astronomy Museum and the Art Institute. It overlooks the historical water tower, and every Chicago native is well aware of its history. The hotel features several shopping stores, a fitness center, and an amazing restaurant (Nomi) with a beautiful view of the downtown. If the high-end price of the restaurant wards you off, the hotel is close to several different ethnic-food restaurants: American, Italian, Scandinavian, Russian, Indian, Middle Eastern, Mexican, French, German, Austrian, and Japanese just to get you started. You can go for the typical pizza or a burger at nearby Pizzeria Uno (highly recommended pizza restaurant) or Billy's Goat Tavern (Great homemade Burgers).

The staff at the Park Hyatt makes you feel like a king. They treat you with respect and make you feel welcomed. My experience was nothing short of unbelievable. The hotel caters to high-end customers, from business executives to movie and music stars. The Park Hyatt has been a favorite hotel of choice for pop-queen divas Brittany Spears and Christina Aguilera.

The concierge department is more than willing to go out of its way to arrange anything you want, from restaurant reservations to attraction recommendations.

Three FREE attractions in Chicago offer visitors a chance to travel to the far east and learn about a different culture. Another offers children and adults the chance to come up close and to different barnyard animals, such as Roger the Hedgehog and Timmy the Iguana. The third attraction is for anyone who loves nature and is an avid gardener or designer.

Baha'i House of Worship, Lincoln Park Pritzker Children's Zoo & Farm-in-the-Zoo, and the Chicago Botanic Gardens are all worthy of visits. Do not let the fact that they all offer free admission deter you. The Japanese Garden in the botanic gardens is one of the main attractions. With its beautifully crafted tress and rock garden, it will will leave you breathless.

The Bahai house of worship is only one of seven bahai faith temples worldwide, and the only temple in the Western Hemisphere. The staff is very informative and will answer any question you have. From its majestic architecture to its soul-searching garden, visitors will walk away with an amazing cultural experience.

The farm at the Lincoln Park Zoo is free (the zoo costs, though) and offers children to become familiar with barnyard animals and touch them under the supervision of zookeepers. From hedgehogs, iguanas, pigs, cows, chickens, and roosters to fluffy rabbits, adults and children alike will enjoy these animals. Taking into account the fact that visitors to Chicago want to spend a load of cash on the major attraction, these three free attractions keep any family's budget reasonable. If you have questions, just let me know.
