Average hotel

The lobby/atrium area of the hotel looks very fresh and modern, but once you head down the hallways toward the rooms, the carpeting is very old and stained. Our room was fairly clean, aside from more stained carpeting. The room was a nice size, and the bed was fairly comfortable, but the bathroom was pretty small. The wireless internet was easy to access.

Four Points earns Five Stars from me!

This was by far the most pleasant hotel I've stayed at in a very long time. I always expect a hotel to look better in pictures than it does in person, but that wasn't the case here. This hotel was beautiful inside. It was as nice of a hotel as I would expect to find in a tropical resort. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Regretfully, I didn't get around to checking out the pool or the exercise facility. The restaraunt/bar looked very nice, but it was pretty dead so we skipped that and dined elsewhere. There are plenty of places to eat & drink within a mile (I highly recommend Charlie Brown's - get the chicken nachos). If I'm ever in Harrisburg again, It will definately be Four Points by Sheraton for me!

Nice Hotel located a few miles from Hershey Park. The Hotel and staff were very warm and friendly. The rooms where clean and the maid staff very professional. Double queen beds were a hit with me and my daughter. The pool was also clean and maintained. Lots of local stores for convenience.

Weekend Getaway

We stayed in a room overlooking the lobby/dining area (room 326). The room itself was clean, had a microwave and small frig, and was comfortable. However, located in the lobby/dining area was a grand piano that wasn't locked when not in use, so children could be heard banging on the keys til around 11pm, which was very annoying. Also, the air conditioner began roaring loudly late the 2nd night whenever it was running, so sleeping was almost impossible. We complained about it upon check out, but because we had booked through Travel website, they would not adjust our bill. After all of this, I would not mind staying at that hotel again, but I would request a room away from the lobby.

We stayed at the 4 Points Sheraton in Harrisburg. It was a large spacious Hotel with a great pool and had free internet for guests. The Pub on the premises T.Brenden O'Reillys was designed by the Guiness Beer People, it was beautifully decorated and had great food with an awesome kids menu. We stayed in a 2 queen room, it had a big bathroom and we weren't crowded at all. There are video games on the TV that you rent by the hour, but if it rains, it is worth the money to keep the kids occupied. Overall, we would go back, it had comfy beds, nice clean and quiet rooms. There is an Omlet station/breakfast buffet in the lobby area. Also there is a visitor computer kiosk near the front desk to help you find your way around town and things to do in Harrisburg that was very helpful. We had a very nice stay.
