Quote: Outdoor pool was large and clean, plenty of towels. Breakfast included made to order omlets! Bed was the best I have been in, best part is the location, you can walk to several restaurants, near shopping and the highway but the back side of the... Read the full Holiday Inn Danbury review

Good value

  • February 7, 2011
Quote: The hotel is a little dated and was undergoing renovation during my stay but was decent and a good value. My room was clean but was nothing extraordinary in terms of decor or features. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. There are... Read the full Holiday Inn Danbury review

Excellent Customer Service

  • 5 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 3, 2011
Quote: This hotel I highly recommend. The customer service was outstanding and the rooms were clean. They accept pets and always welcome my Pug puppy. The front desk clerks are friendly as with the kitchen/bar staff. I will be staying there from now on.

Quote: Staff was friendly. Didn't eat in the bar/restaurant, but it looked fine. Great location within Danbury. Elevator is slow and appears old.

Quote: I've stayed at the location 3 times. They have always been warm, welcoming and friendly. Most of all, they treat my Standard Poodle, Gaspar, as part of the family. \nThe hot breakfast is usually good with lot's of choices. The one problem I had,... Read the full Holiday Inn Danbury review

Run Down

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • December 15, 2007
Quote: The place needs renovating. Breakfast bar was not very good. Eggs seemed to be powdered type. \nRoom was very noisy with the fan running on and off all night.

Not a 3 Star Hotel

  • 2 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • October 10, 2007
Quote: Combined business/vacation. First they sent us to a room that was already occupied. The room they moved us to had a lot of mildew in the bath. I'm not germophobic, but I expected the room to be clean. The whole place smells old and musty. The... Read the full Holiday Inn Danbury review

Decent

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • January 29, 2007
Quote: Hotel was a little dated. However, it was clean and rooms were big. There is a club on the first floor of the Hotel and the parking lot gets loud around 2am on a Saturday night. I would stay again.

Nice Place

Quote: We stayed here with our two labs on the way home from our Canadian vacation. Very nice staff, very comfy beds and quiet. Only problem was finding a ""green grassy"" place to walk the dogs. Would stay here again though.
