For * quid a night, I had low expectations considering how expensive the UK is. But I was truly surprised. It is truly a quality hotel with excellent customer service (the night desk staff is exceptional!), very clean and secure. Only a 4 quid taxi from the downtown night life, and a 10 minute walk from the shopping district on Argyle St. Full Scottish breakfast for 7 quid, large spacious rooms, 12-channel cable tv, with immaculate bathrooms. A single, female traveler felt very safe, secure and at home.
