The Best in Nantucket!

The owners and staff of this beautiful inn made this first-time Nantucket-goer long to return!
My room was simply beautiful; perfect, period-appointments. Clean and homey in every way. My "patio" overlooked the glorious English-style gardens and the property is so safe and secure that even as a woman traveling alone, I never hesitated to relax (and, okay, work a little!) at my patio table.
If there is a better location in Nantucket, I can't imagine what it would be! Easy-easy walking to restaurants, the piers, shopping .... You name it! And, should you like to go a bit further, you are a three minute walk from Nantucket's public transportation and a short taxi ride from the airport.
Loved my time at the Whaler, and only hope that I'll be able to revisit in 2008!
