Great hotel, not your usual American standard, more cosmopolitan!

Our stay at the Wyland was fantastic, especially for the price (we paid $* at the time). The bed was comfortable and it had modern linen (not the usual floral covers you get in american hotels). It was like a 5 star feel. Service was good. Location wasn't as central as I thought it was but it was still in the heart of it all. The only criticism I have is the shower in the standard room is really small.
The free breakfast is simply one pastry and one drink- not even worth a mention really. But the atmosphere and ambience was nice and cool. The lounges were welcoming and nicely designed. You can see by the photos how nice it is.
Overall, great experience, highly recommend and would definitely go back next time as a hotel of choice.
Perfect for our needs!

This hotel was fantastic! We purchased the simple saver package so the room was smaller, but there was just 2 of us and we were just their to sleep at night so it was perfect. By the way, the beds were very comfortable. It was SO CLOSE to everything. We could walk everywhere. We rode the bus a lot also and the stop was literally right out in front of the hotel. No complaints here!
Nice hotel with a tiny room

The service was good, esp. the valet guys. They always checked to make sure you knew where you were going. Daily parking charge isn't a bad considering it's valet only parking. Nice amenities available. Spa is on site, free daily coffee/pastry and lobby area is beautifully decorated. The one bad thing I have to say is the room we had was tiny and there was only 2 of us. If you're use to decent size hotel rooms, this isn't the place for you. An average size person would have a hard time moving around in the tiny shower and the bed is practically touching the mirrored closet doors.

We arrived tired from a loooong plane ride but were greated by friendly staff. The upgrade package from an online travel website was well worth it. We received a larger room with a small kitchenette (came in handy). The room was very clean and updated with a very modern high end look. The lobby, computer area, bar & chill room were awesome. The complimentary breakfast tickets were also a nice touch, for a quick croissant and POG juice in the mornings. We decided on Wyland Waikiki for our 9 year wedding anniversary and enjoyed every minute of our trip. The scenery was beautiful, the people were friendly and we were always "hanging loose". We would love to go and visit Hawaii again in the future, although next time we will be flying 1st class (those coach seats are terrible for a 10 hour flight. Mahalo!!!

This hotel is centrally located with clean and bright rooms. I wouldn't buy that highly overpriced and crappy art that they try to push on you. All in all, a friendly and charming stay.
