Not A Bad Hotel

I arrived very early (7 a.m.) and was amazed at how accomodating the staff was. When I said I just wanted to check my bags they frowned and said that they will check to see if they had rooms available. They did and I was off to tour the city on my only day off - in town for a tradeshow. The locations is suberb. Within very close proximity to Times Square, Rockefeller Center and many shows. The room was clean, well lit and inviting. The bed was especially comfortable. I parked at the garage near the hotel and was able to call 30 minutes prior to departure to pick up my car. It was waiting. Had breakfast in the restaurant. This was the only negative to my entire experience. The buffet was completely over priced and the food was mediocre at best. A better choice is to head out the door and turn left. Go up one block and eat at the deli. Overall, good experience and worth every cent.

We had to be moved from our first room because the bathtub was disguisting. The second room was clean but very, very small for the price. The staff, however, was friendly and accomodating. We will not stay there again, but I commend the staff.

Myself and my wife stayed a week at this hotel, we ended up at the sheraton new york first ans was amazed how grand it looked, when we found out we were at the wrong sheraton and the hotel we were suposed to be at was along the street we thought it would be a grand. When we got to the foyer we knew straight away it was a rough place and it was gonna be along week staying there. The rooms were disgusting, internet did not work all it was there was a load of wires hanging out the wall. The restraunt adjacent to it (Russo's)was terrible I ended up with food poisionng from either the french onion soup or the chicken wrap. If your looking for a clean hotel please go else where as this will put you off New York and spoil your trip the the greatest city on earth. Trust me im not over reacting about the hotel. The bathrooms were filthy, the tiles were filthy

I stayed at the Sheraton Manhattan @ Time Square. They started me off in a room that was behind the lifts, which was pretty noisy and I requested a room change, which they did without a problem. Once changed, I had no problems at all. The room was big enough and the bathroom was nice. The location was fantastic, close to Time Square and not far from Central Park. I would love to stay at the Sheraton Manhattan again.

would stay again

We had a combination trip- business & pleasure. Hotel was primarily a business hotel but was very comfortable. Had a king room with no view but is was at least quiet at night. Best tip - Cafe Duke's down the street towards Radio City Music Hall. Pick up food and eat in room for 1/3 the price of restaurant food. Great location and staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was adequate size for two adults. Didn't eat at Rocco's (restaurant) but those who did said it was great.
