Can We Take The Bed Home With Us?

Of all the hotels we've stayed in (and we travel quite frequently), this was by far the most comfortable and relaxing. The bed was just out of this world in terms of comfort level...we were seriously trying to figure out a way to smuggle it through the front door and into our car (just kidding). I was also impressed by the digital thermostat. This made it very easy to regulate the temperature. In almost every other hotel we've stayed at, its either been too hot or too cold and not much we could do about it. The shower had multiple settings, so we enjoyed a shower and a massage with jet sprays at the same time. How great! We stayed in a N/S king and the room was very large, yet cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful, though there were NO PROBLEMS whatsoever! Everything worked as it should and everything was clean and in order, as it should be. This hotel is only 2 miles (less than 5 minutes) from Wheeling Island casinos. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to the casinos. It was very easy to find (at night). The hot breakfast was good, though there could have been more items...but heck, we were right next door to a Bob Evans, so what more can you ask for?

Older decor, but clean and friendly

We arrived in the wee hours and were still greeted with a friendly face and smile. Overall the stay worked very well for us, especially the location. Love the breakfast too.

"The atmosphere and location of this hotel was great. The only complaint I would have is that the beds were too high off the floor for the physically limited elderly, which made me scratch my head - you have a handicap accessible building with no handicap accessible sleeping arrangements! Thank God for roll-away beds!"
