Stayed here for a weekend trip (in town for a wedding May 3rd); very friendly service, super-clean non-smoking room, and awesome breakfast! The bed was very comfy, and this is coming from a picky person; if I HAD to critique one thing, the ONLY thing that would have made this stay better would be higher thread-count sheets, I'm spoiled and used to my 400+ TC at home. We didn't have a chance to check out the manager's reception (happy hour) but we will on our next stay. Pleasantly surprised with 2 things: relatively quick room service, yummy food (ends at 10pm though) and also very fast service for a plumbing problem that was swiftly fixed. Our room faced the mountain, which provided some nice views; maybe that's why I didn't hear any noise at all from the airport. Super-quick checkout, no problems with anything on this visit! Next time we visit Portland, we will definitely stay here again; why even bother with trying another hotel?

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and have had nothing but GREAT experiences. The hotel offers a great cocktail hour (free of charge) and even allows kids. The also have a HUGE breakfast free of charge which we also love. The beds are very comfortable and I love having a seperate bedroom allowing both the parents and the kids to have their own spaces. You do get noise from planes overhead, but hey if you are staying near the airport what can you expect? This time we had a wonderful view of Mt. Hood that was spectacular as the sun reflected off it when setting. We will always stay here when traveling. I also appreciate that the airport shuttle runs on an as needed basis as opposed to some hotels where they run on a set schedule.

We stayed here over a long holiday weekend, with two young children. The rooms were very comfortable and attractive. We were very impressed with the complimentary breakfast which included extensive choices and made-to-order omelettes.
They had a problem with the pool the first day we were there but they offered to shuttle us to another hotel to use their pool. The pool was promptly repaired and they gave us a courtesy call to let us know.
We did have an extra adult who said that the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, but the beds in the bedroom were very nice.
Also, the hotel is an easy walk from the nearest MAX light rail station so we never had to drive our car once we arrived.

We flew into Portland in late October 08. We booked the Embassy Suites at the airport for the night we flew in since we knew Embassy and what we were in for. We loved the hotel and its location by the airport. The breakfast was awesome as usual and the beds were the best we had felt in Oregon. We took a trip down the coast, staying at a couple of other hotels. We missed our Embassy Suites. We changed the rest of our plans so we could stay the final two nights of our trip at the Embassy Suites by the airport. It felt like "home" to us, even though we are from Indianapolis. It was a great home base for us to feel at home. It was like putting on a warm blanket. The breakfast ... outstanding. Cleanliness ... outstanding. Beds ... heavenly! Would stay there again when in the Portland area. Thanks Embassy Suites for being a welcome friend on the road!

This hotel was great. the room can hold up to 6 people. Free parking at an Airport hotel. Free breakfast. Nice indoor pool and a fantastic gym. There is a shuttle to the airport on demand, and you can take the Max Light Rail downtown from there. I will stay there next and everytime I go to Portland.
