Definitely will stay at HGI again

First time staying at HGI in Las Vegas. The room smelled like "brand new" when we walked in. Front desk was very courteous and helpful. Only a couple of miles from south end of Las Vegas strip. Free shuttle on the hour taking guests to Mandalay Bay and back until 11PM. Room service was great. The swimming pool is small compared to high-priced resorts but it was good for the money. Our overall experience with this hotel was much better than our expectation for the rate we paid, which is less than half of those hotels around the area.
Highly recommended.

Late flight arrival. Free shuttle to hotel. Buffet, ala carte or vending options for breakfast. Free shuttle to strip. Courteous helpful staff. Clean large rooms.

I was very pleased with the comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfast selections. Our waitress was incredibly wonderful and very attentive. Both of our shuttle drivers were SUPER friendly and so convenient to be dropped off at the strip. I will definitley stay here again!

The best part of the hotel was the proximity to the casinos/sights in the area. The rooms are adequate. I stayed for a wedding and didn't spend much time at the hotel other than to sleep. I tried to have breakfast at the hotel however the staff was overwhelmed and dismissive. I ended up having to leave and find somewhere else to go eat breakfast every morning. (very annoying) The staff was unhelpful in this situation and suggested I go find a denny's.

The Hilton Garden Inn LV Strip South was a very comfortable hotel with nice accommodations. The hotel was typical for a Garden Inn and our room was fairly large and could easily accommodate four adults. The hotel offered a free shuttle to/from the airport, but it was not extremely time efficient. The hotel is actually located in close proximity to the airport, and a cab fare would be very reasonable. If you do choose to pick up an airport shuttle at the Las Vegas airport for most hotels, be sure you go to the level beneath the baggage claims. There is an escalator near the info desk and the shuttle area is Level Zero. If you aren't determined to spend your nights in Vegas immediately on the Strip, this is a great choice of hotels. They offer a shuttle that runs all day to Mandalay Bay, so the Strip is still easily accessible.
