Scottish Inns Boone is an overpriced dump

I realize that Boone is a crazy place to find a reasonably priced hotel during a APP State football game weekend, but I would suggest investing $ more to stay in a hotel other than staying at the Scottish Inn. We had no hot water all weekend and the place was a dump. I've stayed at better place while traveling through the middle of now where in Mexico.
We shouldn't reward a dump of hotel by giving it business just because it is hard to get a hotel during a busy weekend in Boone. The hotel should be shut down!

this hotel was horrible...... i cannot believe this was recommended from online travel website..we stayed there 3 nights and they never once changed the sheets or pillowcases........... for the money i would have expected ALOT more

the rooms was clean but they need work as far as fixing up.the pool was clean and service was good.we will be back for another visit
Terrible Mistake

The comforter had large stains (which I took pictures of). The bathroom was terribly outdated, and the entire room smelled. When we went to the desk, the attendant acted like it was a normal occurance. This hotel is not a good reflection of Boone.

I am originally from Boone but have since moved. Last time I visited I decided to stay here. WORST MISTAKE! The tile in bathroom pealing, mold everywhere. There were HUGE stains on both sides of the comforter that looked like. Told clerk I wouldn't stay and why, he didn't act a bit surprised-bored in fact. A true blight in Boone
