Nice room and people

Hotel has a plush yet quaint feel like some old-time lodge yet in an urban location. Room and amenities were very nice. Price was an outstanding value. We even got upscale Temperpedic beds! Only negative comment was that, due to expansion construction, the water was turned off on our last day of vacation. We did not get notice until the night before, and greater notice would have allowed us to plan around it. This hotel was far nicer than a much more expensive Hyatt Regency we stayed at the week before.

Happy with the Heathman Lodge!

This is our second time at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, WA and we will definitely stay there again when we need lodging in the Vancouver area. We will also recommend it to friends. The hotel and restaurant staff were accommodating and friendly. Everything was clean. Check in was easy and as it was Friday night, the piano bar was busy - the music was great - not too loud and we could not hear it from our room. We enjoyed the pool with our grandchildren. We also enjoy the easy access to nearby restaurants and the Vancouver Mall. Our only complaint was with the Tempure mattresses that we chose when picking a room. We would not choose them again. Thanks, Heathman!

Great Family Hotel

We have been staying at the Heathman Lodge every Thanksgiving since they opened. (7 years) The kids love the pool and spa and look forward to them every year. The staff is allways very friendly and go out of their way to make our stay pleasant. They know we stay there every year and make us feel welcome. Our family usually take 3 to 4 rooms each year. We usually eat 3 to 4 meals at the restaruant and are allways pleased. Its standard, when we stay in Vancouver we stay at the Heathman.

The Heathman's unique mountain lodge design sets it apart from run of the mill hotels. The room was large and clean with a fridge and microwave. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd go back.

Actually, this is a very nice hotel. The only thing that was at all disconcerting is their decorating attempt to come across as a "wilderness lodge." Being plopped down next to a busy interstate and mega-mall it takes a great leap of the imagination to begin to even think one has been transported into the woods of the great Northwest. My wife loved the place though and that's what is really important.
