We stayed only two days. Stayed on 18th floor. The first day was fine but the next day was horrible. We awoke at 5:00 a.m. to get ready to depart the hotel and head to the airport to catch our early flight. Well we had no hot water! The day before we had no hot water problems. We let the water run in hopes is would get hot and called the front desk who sent up someone. The repair man left our room and about 10 minutes later called to say they needed to turn up the temp on the water tank. So we decide to just sponge bath and head to the airport. Manager offers us a free night stay I advise manager that would be fine if it is good at all Sheraton's because we have no plans in the future to be in Minneapolis. Manager said no it is only good at their hotel! Next time we vacation you can bet we will not be staying at a Sheraton!
The walls are "very" thin. We could here the guy in the next room clearing his throat. The people up stairs opening the curtains and walking across the floors. Bathroom is very small. I could sit on the toilet and put my feet on the wall in front of me and at the same time touch the wall next too me!
Good folks.

It's my first time ever in this state and have no idea what to expect but as soon as I check in, I know that I'll be just fine. I came over to watch a football game (Vikings vs. Raiders). All the folks around me has been nothing but nice and helpful. The staffs in the hotel has been very nice and easy to deal with. Hotel was pretty much centralized and closed enough to airport, Mall of America and downtown. Special thanks to the shuttle drivers for not getting tired of giving directions to his passengers. The shuttle ride sure made things a lot easier for us newcomers. I shall definitely stay in this hotel again the next time I'm in town.

When we pulled into the hotel is was difficult to find the front door to check in. At the front desk we ask for a bellman to carry up our luggage this took about 10 minutes and we were told to wait by the door we came in, after the bellman got our luggage on a cart we asked where the valet parking was he said to give him the key's and he would take care of it, he did give us a receipt, luckly my wife asked how to retrevie the car and we were told to call the front desk and they would call him on his cell phone and he would contact us, very unsual way of handling a car.

The Sheraton was excellent in all respects. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, rooms spotless, food great, location to the Mall of America great. The free shuttle was a great addition to the already wonderful stay.
