I made a reservation for this hotel in January 2009 for a visit in April. When I arrived, the windows were all boarded up. I found out from the hotel next door that they were sited for structural damage to the foundation and had to close.

it's so important to us that people enjoy there jobs..and the staff at Hawthone suites are a
perfect example of this...everyone is smiling and helpfull...they can't do enough for you...they go
above and beyond there duties....the manager/bartender for there happy hour hour makes
you feel that you're family and sitting in her living room...talking to us and making us feel welcomed
the room was fresh and clean...it was a pleasure to sleep soundly and we felt very safe...thanks
to the staff.....thanks for a great start to our family gathering...happy holidays.

This is a no-frills hotel, but is priced accordingly. Fairly inexpensive. Just don't expect a real nice hotel. Nice to have free wireless internet.

Great hotel, small glitches with room. Stated fully equiped kitchen/or wet bar, but staff got us set up well. Hot breakfast everyday, light dinners and M-Th wonderful! Located near 1 mile from airport, 10 min. from downtown Austin. Kudos!

Nice hotel when you just need a place to sleep. Staff could've been nicer.
