Comfortable, Quiet Stay

I stayed here with some friends for a weekend event and was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the environment was at the hotel. My room was clean, the furniture was in good condition and had a contemporary style, and the bed was wonderful - very plush and comfortable. I brought my own pillow from home, so I cannot say how the provided pillows were, but I got the highest quality sleep I've ever had in a hotel. When I booked the room, it was on sale through Travelocity so I did not have to pay the usual price which I believe would have been around $100/night. For that rate, I would have expected more from the place, but for what I paid, it was great. There was no free breakfast like many big chain hotels offer, but the hotel wasn't as busy and full of children like many of those chain hotels are, so it was worth the trade. The pool was nice - small, but heated and very relaxing, and open 24 hours. This was a great feature and we had the pool to ourselves since we went down later in the evening. There was no hot tub/jacuzzi, however. I also really loved the free shuttle to the Mall of America and airport, which made it very convenient to go shopping and not have to worry about parking or traffic on the way. I would stay here again if I could find a good deal on it again. The one concern I had was that an extra charge appeared on my online bank account, but I spoke to one of the employees at the front desk and it was dropped. She was very polite in helping me solve the issue.

Amazing for the Price!!

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at! The staff is the most friendliest, the rooms are VERY VERY clean! And there are no words to describe how comfortable the beds are!! The pool area is very nice and quiet, we were the only ones in the pool everytime we went in there! The restaurant has VERY good food! It's in a very safe spot. I would reccomend this to anyone in the world! Its a STEAL for the money!

Generally a good stay

I stayed at this hotel Easter weekend, 2009. The experience was generally positive. I liked the cleaniness and quality of the hotel and the room. They offer free wireless access, definitely a plus. The price was attractive. Two problems occurred. One of the reading lights in my room did not work. Both my friends and I needed to have our keys re-coded after the first night. Apparently, they were only coded for one night. The staff were helpful with this.

Hotel is not as close to Mall of America as they would have you think. Shuttle Service drivers were great and cordial. Restaurant overpriced. No refrigerator in room or other amenities. Would stay elsewhere next time.
