This is a very clean, rather upscale, very well located hotel. the room was very nice, clean and quiet. At the price we paid, it was a very good value .

Get the MODE room. For a couple bucks more per night it's worth the renovations. It's an uphill walk to St. Catherine, so bring comfortable shoes or take a cab. No internet in the room was a nuisance. The bar / restaurant is not a good value...

The location of the hotel is perfect. It's locatedd within walking distance of downtown and old Montreal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit dated but clean. I would definitely stay again.

Their "free internet" is only in the lobby - no wireless internet in hotel rooms. While this restricted me, I sent an e-mail complaining about it, and within an hour they had a wireless router set up in my room for me. I was very impressed with the ...Read more
Terrific place

Located at the bottom of a hill from Rene Levesque (where the bus from the airport dropped us), this towering mammoth of a hotel is a mix of great and just okay. It has two banks of elevators (six total, though one was out the entire stay) that move ...Read more
