Stein Erickson in the Summer

I've stayed at the Stein Erickson 3 times for an annual get together with friends. It's a luxury property all around - from the well-appointed rooms and lush master bathrooms to the fantastic location high in the hills. The rooms are all large and very comfortable - I've never had a bad experience. It's always spotless and luxurious. I have consistently found the staff to be helpful and very service oriented. Built on the hills, the property does contain lots of stairs, so not ideal for small children or people with disabilities. Hiking up the mountain in the summer is a favorite pastime as well.

We had the best vacation experience ever. There was incredible food, accommodations, and staff. Our room had a great fireplace and marble bathroom. The bathroom had a large stall shower and a jet tub. We had turndown service every night. The room was kept spotless and organized by the housekeeping staff. The ski valet staff had our skis unpacked and ready as soon as we arrived. They offered us hot and cold drinks, and at the end of the day, offered to take off our ski boots. (The day I can't take off my own boots is the day I stop skiing.) It was worth every penny; actually, it was worth every dollar!
