If you're a business associate looking for a place to stay while in the corporate area of Kingston, Jamaica, then Hilton hotel is just for you. It is especially known for the ball rooms it has which is continuously being rented out to entities for functions...the staff is friendly, the food is amazing and it is central according to its location. What more can you want... it might be a place where you will see quite a few stars if you're lucky which you will be as it is a frequent choice of the celebrities..and not just Jamaican celebrities!!
Not great but not bad either...

I made a quick trip to Kingston in December and chose to stay at this hotel for the seond time. It's at a great location, in walking distance to the restaurants and clubs in New Kingston. The rooms are ok. They could do with some upgrading. The housekeeper assigned to the room was very friendly and efficient so it was kept clean. The staff in general were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so-so, I've had better at other hotels. They do make delicious cocktail patties though. I was able to get a discounted rate, so it was worth the price paid. Its not really worth it when they charge more than $ as you're really only paying for the Hilton name and a bed. They have nightly entertainment by the pool area which is interesting and the bar in their little casino serves great drinks. I also liked the convenience of having transportation to and from the airport. Overall, I probably will stay there again the next time I'm in Kingston.

I was shocked that this was a Hilton property!!!!.....the carpet was dark green and still showed the stains. The bathrooms were from the 60s, cracked tiles, lights out and not well kept......our beds were on blocks, yes cement blocks.....our shower head came flying out the wall as I was taking a shower. We called the front desk and asked the manager to come and see what all was going on and he told us it was not his job.....this was truly a horrible experience....
Overpriced for what you get

I was expecting a Hilton as in Canada and the US but it's not what I got. The lobby and grounds are great the rooms and halls need big reno. The Pool was very dirty but night entertainment was great. The view from our room was amazing left the patio door open and heard dancehall all night from a local sound playing. Way overpriced for what you get.
WAS JUST OK
