The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to many types of business meetings, etc. Service was outstanding with a very efficient and friendly staff always at your call. Nice breakfast buffet with special attention to individual requests. This is a hotel I would recommend as "best for the price and location" to all my business friends and partners. Many guests were vacationing as well, so it is not just for business people.

Reserved King suite with pullout sofabed. **** Informed at the hotel that they have no sofabeds!!! Called to see if fridge in room, and told yes, with "premium suite," which is what I reserved, fridge is included. ****Wanted to charge me $10/night for the fridge! Check-in took about 15 minutes, where I was expressly told there was "no problem." Given a key to a room (#801) that was "recently remodeled." ****In the room, there were no nightstands and no bedside lamps - so the only light for the entire room was the entry light or the TV; what's more, the king bed consisted of two cots side-by-side. Called the desk, they offered me a different room. Went to the new room, which had king bed and no fridge, and checked the sofa for pull-out. ****Staff person said that all of the sofabeds must be in other rooms - see above, where other staff person said no sofabeds at all!!!
Had to show the online travel website that listed "King suite with sofabed" and their own website that also showed "King suite with sofabed," ultimately given a slight discount. Unbelievable.

For business travelers this is a nice hotel. It is located right off 405 with easy access to Pacific Coast Highway and the beautiful Southern California Coast. Right across the street is a great outdoor mall with plenty of good food. Try the Japanese restaurant and you won't be disappointed. I didn't see much activity at the hotel bar, but the bartender was very friendly.
The restaurant served a decent breakfast that didn't break the bank. I can't speak for the lunch or dinner. If you plan to hang at the beach, you will have to drive there but it takes less then 10 minutes. The people at the desk were great. The only negative I could find was they charge a fee for the use of the business center. Wireless is free in the rooms though. The pool had a nice outside area where you could lay in the sun. They do need to keep the kids a bit more quiet. There were no parents to be found each time I was at the pool. Although the kids were polite enough, they needed some supervision.

I stayed at the Hotel Huntington Beach and it was great. It was a very clean hotel and the staff were very pleasant and helpful with any questions. They offer a massage in your room and I took full advantage of it. There was also cable TV, wireless Internet access, and it had a lot of shopping opportunities located right across the street. I was also referred to stop by Tommy T's Body Piercing which is on the way toward the beach. I was extremely pleased to find that they had a large selection of 18k Nickel-free gold jewelry. I saw the most gorgeous piece and just had to splurge and get my navel pierced. I had a great time during my stay and I would love to go back out there very soon. The prices at the Hotel Huntington Beach can't be beat so I will stay there again!

We actually checked out after 2 days and cut our losses. Found a hotel closer to the beach and downtown.
