A good value for the room rate given

Stayed here 6/14/08 for one night on the way to Cambria, CA. Spent the day in Carmel and then checked in. Check in was pleasant and we were given a large older room. Parking was tight for a larger SUV, as it's under the unit carport style. It seems they bought an older apartment complex with one bedroom units and converted it to rooms that have not yet been renovated. The unit was very spacious and clean but it smelled a bit like old water damage. Room was comfortable, bed was good, but a little worn out and dated. Enjoyed the tv being in a small living room instead of the bedroom, but the tv was a small tv with limited channels. There was a kitchen and a rather large bedroom with a queen bed and a pull out bed in the closet which was worthless for what it was. Walked around Asilomar across the street, and had dinner at the Fishwife, which was a good dinner, but not as good as I remembered from years prior. Breakfast was included and it was fine, muffins, coffee, doughnuts, juice, yogurts, nothing fancy, but adequate.
