Great Budget Stay

I was just passing through Dayton, and needed a flop for the night. Room was clean, and nicely appointed. Appeared to have been recently renovated (as of 11/08). Granite countertops in the bathroom. Bed was good enough for one night, but nothing special. Highly recommended if you're on a budget and just need a no-frills motel, but not without some quality. Would stay again definitely. Nice staff as well.

Upon check in, the person, who seemed rather unfriendly and angry, working the desk charged me for the room, although I had already booked it through Travelocity. However, upon check out, the person who worked the overnight shift verified which room I was in and informed me that the person that checked me in had made a mistake and that as soon as the 7am person got there, they could correct it. Everything did get taken care of, and I was only charged once for the room. So, there are people there who are on top of their game.
The establishment itself was just the average hotel room. Nothing fancy, but it was by no means terrible. It was clean, quiet, and the bed was good quality. I did not see anything questionable with the building. There is an Arby's within walking distance. All in all, a good place to spend the night after a day of driving. I will stay there again.
