Worst in Elko, Travelers Beware!!!

The city of Elko has many options in hotels and this is the absolute WORST one! Honestly, you are better off sleeping in your vehicle. Imagine the worst image of a "Roach Motel" and you've got the Rodeway Inn. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here. When checking in, the lady was extremely rude and tried to charge me almost twice as much as I was quoted when making the reservations. The rooms haven't been updated since the 70's, if ever. The A/C unit was ancient and didn't work. Save yourself the trouble I experienced and choose a different place to stay.
You don't want to stay here!

We checked in after a long day driving across the desert. The owner opened the room mfor us and turned on the A/C. The room was sweltering, easily over 100 degrees. The A/C was so old and decrepit that even by 3 AM our room was still in the 90s. I can't remember when I've spent a more uncomfortable night. The whole family's lack of sleep has delayed our journey by a day. Skip this fleabag. Travel website should be ashamed!
