Nice place for short stay

I recently got back with my two teenage sons from an overnight trip to Salida where we booked two rooms. The rooms are large and comfortable and reasonably priced. The free wi-fi works great.
It is conveniently located for those who like swimming, right across from the hot springs municipal indoor pool where we took a comfortable dip.
Everyone was very friendly, and the continental breakfast was very generous.
I would definitely stay here again.

Nice Hotel by The Pool

We were in Salida to go rafting and zipling. After two hard days of recreating, it was really nice to walk across the street and soak in the hot springs pool.
The motel was nice, clean and the guy at the front desk was friendly.
Disappointing

Must have used a gallon of Febreze in the room - eyes stung, lumpy bed, double bed not queen as reserved, peeling wallpaper, jets in hot tub don't work, black stuff came out of jacuzzi tub jets when turned on. Yuck! We won't be returning.

The room was affordable. It was very spacious with a seperate living room area. The sofa was a hide a bed.
