This is an old hotel that has been remodeled and updated. The rooms are small but very nice and comfortable. All of the modern conveniences are present - internet connection, LCD TV, ipod radio, etc. The very best point about the hotel is the service. Everyone was cordial and helpful. Great smiles. I like staff that smiles. You will not regret staying here.
Take me out to the ballpark

This hotel is within three blocks of the ballpark and within walking distance of a good part of downtown Portland. Our stay was uneventful with just enough perks to make it above average. But the beds!.. they have splurged on quality mattresses and linens and make every effort to see you have what you need. It was very clean, quiet, and well maintained.

This hotel was by far the best experience we have ever had. The staff was friendly and seemed genuinely eager to help in any way they could. The room was small but the bed was very comfortable and equiped with all the newest hi-tech gadgetry.

they had a excellent happy hour menu in thedriftwood room, but now it is heavy into cuisine that has a lot of duck fat in it... this outlawed in new york, seems like such a progressive city as portland is they would be more concerned with a healthier menu, cornfried lobster does not appeal to me!!!

This is a small but elegantly decorated hotel within walking distance to everything. A train from the airport will drop you off near the hotel for only $2.00. Brunch was wonderful, as was the service. Our room was tastefully furnished and the bed was HEAVENLY - down comforter and pillows, soft sheets. The only downside was the noise from the traffic below, but this was only a problem during rush hours.
