staff were really nice and helpful. Room was really clean, although the barfridge wasnt stock...maybe they forgot or whatnot, but we had our own bottle of wine..so that didnt bother us at all. Located downtown..close to the city centre (10-15min drive from mayfair mall) and the "tourist" stuff (10min walk). Food at their restaurtant was really good also. What really got my attention is that they didnt treat us any different..cuz we look young (college students) overall, id stay here again :D

Executive Staff Lacks Customer Service Skills!!!

Excellent property, good views, friendly and helpful front desk staff, clean and comfortable rooms which are very well appointed....BUT, the executive management at the hotel is completely worthless when it comes to providing proper customer service. On top of that they are arrogant, snooty with stiff upper lip type attitude and totally lack basic customer courtesy skills. A problem I had during my 1 night stay was not resolved to my satisfaction even though I tried to offer a constructive solution to a noise related problem. My solution would help future guests not get rudely awakened in the early hours of the morning by the hotel's peppy high heeled staff walking on the concierge lounge hard kitchen floor above a particular guest room. So hope you think twice about staying here or ensure that your room is not directly below the concierge lounge. Hope you don't have any complaints or at least don't have to deal with the management staff!!!

Nice place, just don't give them your credit card!

This is a really nice hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was good, comfortable bed with lots of pillows and bathroom updated with marble tiles (though no fan). However, THE FRONT DESK ASKED FOR MY CREDIT CARD FOR "INCIDENTALS", THEN PROCEEDED TO CHARGE MY ACCOUNT $50 WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION!!! FOUR DAYS LATER I DISCOVERED THE CHARGE AND HAVE YET TO BE REIMBURSED. GREAT PLACE, JUST DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD!

Great Experience; just a couple recommendations

We just got back from Victoria. The Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour is a great lodging choice. Friendly, accomodating staff, excellent attention to detail, and the hotel is in an excellent location -- close to the harbour and shopping. I would recommend that guests pay the extra $40 per night for access to the 16th floor lounge. Breakfast, afternoon snacks, and evening dessert were a nice, daily bonus. Just a couple complaints. The internet service the hotel provides was down the whole length of my stay. Hotel management and staff seemed disinterested that guests could not conduct business while the internet was down. Also, there were whiskers in the shower that were not mine. Despite the nits, I would definately stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!
