During my 3 day stay I had a room on the fourth floor, and still was harassed by running bus motors for about two hours in the morning, and another half - 1 hour in the evening (10pm) - throughout all days. Obviously we still need time to realize what global warming means and what it is caused by. Since I could not sleep due to that running bus motor, I tried calling the front desk twice - let it rang for a long time - without an answer, because they only have one person being responsible for everything. Accommodating at least two school classes the breakfast facility is too small for all of them and the other guests, who unwillingly come too late to wherever they want to go.

Worst Hotel I've Ever Stayed In

This was the absolutely worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. We couldnt find another room in the entire DC area so were forced to stay. First, we were quoted the wrong price for the room when we made the reservation. Our "no smoking" room smelled like poop and stale smoke mixed together. After complaining numerous times we never got our new room or had ours cleaned. When we left for the day, our AC was turned off. The staff was beyond incompetent and rude. No one ever knew what was going on. My bed didnt have pillows. It required us yelling at the front desk to receive one. We were told we had a shuttle to the subway station. This could not be depended on. We usually walked to the station and always arrived before the shuttle, if it arrived at all. The location of the hotel was in a very poor area of town and we worried about our safety. We waited an 1 1/2 hours to take the city bus back to the hotel b/c it was too dangerous to walk 4 blocks thru the ghetto to our hotel. That was the situation. Sit at the bus stop at 11 pm or walk thru the ghetto. We were also to receive accomodation for one member of our family who has disabilities. We were never accomodated. Don't get me started on the food. Boiled eggs and bread with a toaster with milk sitting on the counter was their continental breakfast. The eggs were just sitting on a plate! I have traveled around the world and never have stayed in such an unaccomodating place. There isnt enough space to list all the problems with this hotel. Dont stay there!

Only the location is good

I stayed to attend my daughter's orientation at UMD -- I chose it for the price and location. My room had not been cleaned -- the bed was unmade -- the soap in the shower was used. The comforter filthy. I was charged a fee for an in-room safe that didn't even have a door. When I asked for a refund, the staff told me it was only $1.00. Okay -- 152 rooms at $1.00 per night times 365 days = $55,480 yearly --a tidy sum for the Quality Inn.

Getting to the hotel was simple and easy.Pool opened at 12:00pm - 8:00pm.After coming back from sightseeing the pool would be closed already, and it was the hottest week of yhe summer there.
