Very small rooms

The hotel is ideally located, but it's a very old hotel that doesn't look very good from the outside. The rooms are really, really small. I thought some of the staff members were very nice, but I had asked for a wake-up call for 4 a.m. It never came! As it turned out, the girl at the counter had put it in the computer as 4 p.m. I was lucky I didn't miss my flight. Probably a lot of better hotels in town as it's not really a bargain price, either.

Great service and overall a great experience.
If you're doing business downtown it's very convenient. Front desk and valet staff were very good, though it costs $18 a day to park your car which isn't great.
My room was very small but just for one person who isn't in the room much, it was perfect!
Definetely recommend this spot.
Tiny room, tiny bed. But clean and quiet.

I was in Houston on business, so I wasn't looking for luxury. Club Quarters fit the bill because of its price and location. The room was clean and quiet (and the air conditioner kept out the summer heat and humidity) but the room was tiny. It reminded me of my first efficiency apartment decades ago, where "efficient" meant you could touch everything without getting out of your chair. Speaking of which, there was only the desk chair; there wasn't room for any other furniture (no dresser or easy chair). The bed firmness was just right and could have been quite comfortable for a short person, but the dumb thing wasn't long enough, even for my moderate 6' frame. The free wireless internet was adequate. I'd stay again, if by myself and if price was the main concern.

have stayed here the last 3 trips to Houston (beginning in 2007). this time I took the standard -size room and while very small, and with only a shower stall (no tub), had everything I required, including in-room free internet access, coffee maker, and a help-yourself supply of free bottled water and liquid coffee creamer (not powder)! very convenient location to the office (two blocks). Table 7 restaurant just opened onsite with delicious food, very friendly staff, nice ambience. Highly recommended.

I thought the location was perfect for what I needed. They are in the process of building a resturant so that is a huge plus. I found the staff curtious, the room clean and security was very good. Parking wasn't an issue. I would stay there again and recommend Club Quarters to friends.
