Close to the Toyota Center...we were able to walk. This was nice. The hotel also provided a free ride to the Toyota Center. This was great since it was chilly. The hotel's courtesy car only ran til 9pm...concert was over at 11PM. But again, walk was not far...just chilly. Overall our stay was pleasant. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. Our only negative...NO water pressure! Very difficult to shower and brush teeth. I complained, but nothing was done. Lots of building construction in area may have lowered water pressure.
Would stay again for a concert at Toyota Center.

I booked this hotel because of the charm it had on the outside and in. It was a great little hotel for my husband and I's anniversary. We had a regular standard room. I had read traveler reviews beforehand so I knew what to expect. The room was a nice cozy size and everything was modern and up to date. There was wireless internet in the room, so we could look up restaurants in the area, as well as things to do. There were a ton of restaurants within a block of the hotel to choose froml. They also have complimentary water by the elevators on each floor. It comes in very handy when you are going out for a day of exploring. The hotel is also very centrally located. We were able to walk to the Astro's stadium and then come back and go to the Aquarium. The downfall is that there is no parking really. They have valet parking and that is it. It is not complimentary. It is $18 a day. Which is a pretty hefty price. There is also construction going on all around. We couldn't hear anything while in our room, but it wasn't a pretty site either.

I have stayed at Club Quarters before and enjoyed it thoroughly. It does have small rooms, but since I usually travel alone, it is perfect for me. I love the amenities available, the overall feel of quality and service at the hotel. Excellent downtown lovcation, close to transportation, freeway exits, many terrific restaurants, and shopping. I love Houston and I love the Houston Club Quarters. I will stay here on my next visit to this city.

The location of this hotel is pretty good, it's on the same block as some cool bars and restaurants. The room was small (just one bed and a chair) but clean and the lobby was nice. However, the people at the front desk never even looked up to greet us when we walked in everyday. They also never got the correct number of towels, wash cloths, etc every night and took forever to respond to our requests. They offer free bottled water, which was nice, but the machine on our floor was broken and apparently had been that way for at least a few weeks already. I thought the service and quality of the room was just not really worth the price.
