Best of IgoUgo If you are looking for a location in the French Quarter, then the St. Ann is great. It is a couple of blocks from Bourbon Street and all of the sites in the French Quarter. It is also a five-minute walk from the Mississippi River, Harrah’s Casino, ...Read more

Best of IgoUgo The St. Ann - Marie Antoinette and her sister property, The Saint Louis, are both affordable and traditional New Orleans style hotels. The St. Ann is in the heart of the French quarter just 1/2 block from Bourbon Street. It has a beautiful brick ...Read more

Staying in the French Quarter of New Orleans can be fun, but it can also be tricky. That's what I learned when I checked into the St. Ann Marie Antoinette Hotel. There are two types of hotels in New Orleans, modern and not modern. If you are ...Read more

The best way to describe the St. Ann is that it's a stately hotel in need of a facelift. Although its appearance is still generally good, its walls need re-painting, the wood needs to be re-treated in many places, the pool needs to be cleaned and ...Read more

My reservations were lost. I was charged twice for the room. The toilet seat had duct tape on it. The woman from housekeeping laughed at us. There was no valet parking even though advertised. When I called to speak with the manager his ...Read more

Marie Antoinette was the hotel that rock stars stayed at in the 1960's & 1970's; everybody knows it for all the wild people and parties that used to go on there. Needs refurbishing, interior decorating, carpets, everything. Smells bad.

The only positive I can really say about my stay is that the beds were comfortable and the location was excellent to Bourbon Street. The bathroom had a shower sprout but no where to turn it on. When we first arrived in our room, neither desk lamps ...Read more

I am a frequent New Orleans traveler, and I think this is an excellent value. The location couldn't be better, the staff was helpful, the room was relatively clean. Not the best, but definitely worth consideration. It's not the Intercontinental, but ...Read more
