Moldy bathrooms

The only positive I can really say about my stay is that the beds were comfortable and the location was excellent to Bourbon Street. The bathroom had a shower sprout but no where to turn it on. When we first arrived in our room, neither desk lamps worked so we had to call to have them replaced. The ceilings were in bad shape, the carpeting was dirty, and the bathroom showed signs of mold. I took plenty pictures of the room's condition. I had to come back home and check out the price of these rooms on the internet. It's unrealistic the market price of these rooms.

Marie Antoinette was the hotel that rock stars stayed at in the 1960's & 1970's; everybody knows it for all the wild people and parties that used to go on there. Needs refurbishing, interior decorating, carpets, everything. Smells bad.

I am a frequent New Orleans traveler, and I think this is an excellent value. The location couldn't be better, the staff was helpful, the room was relatively clean. Not the best, but definitely worth consideration. It's not the Intercontinental, but it's also not over $* a night.

I stayed here for 5 days and enjoyed it very much. Everyone was polite. The place is charming in its old world way. The courtyard and pool area is beautiful. The hotel is 15 steps from bourbon st. with all its craziness and wonderful food.
