we stayed at this hotel during feb. two times while going to keys. the rooms were very clean,i mean real clean. the staff was very nice and polite.the best of all i like location, conveniently near by to restaurants and shopping.
would hot stay again

We did not have a good experience with this hotel. The first rooms we checked into, the tv in neither room worked, so the girl at the front desk moved us to the lower level. This appeared to be better until we sat down on the bed. Apparently the guest before us had an accident and the houseeeper just changed the pad and sheets. The moisture from the mattress came up through the sheets and pad. What a mess. The clerk put us in another room but we checked out the next morning. The plus was that the desk clerk was very nice and apoligized for everything. It was an inexpensive room but not a good experience. The other couple with us did not have a problem with the second room.

First let us say this is an unsolicitated review. We have traveled every state in the country and have never found the level of personal service and accomodiation value than at this hotel. For the last five years, we have stayed at the Destin Inn. Each year we are welcomed with new additions and upgrades. The staff are simply wonderful, the location offers quick access to all the main attractions including the beach. This American owner is genuinely conceerned about each guest's stay. Low, if any noise, a great pool, complementary breakfast, 24 hour monitored security, and a price that won't keep you from doing the things you came to do. Unless you just have to sleep on beach front property everyday, save the $150+ a day and enjoy some AJ's seafood, parasailing, or the outlet mall.
