Four happy faces????? You must be drinking something pretty strong. The room was shabby. The desk clerk was curt and was even overheard saying to a customer that people were "rushed" out of the place at check-out time or charged. There were two urns for coffee and one for hot water in the lobby which were close to empty. If you are going on an early hike,,,,forget so much as a cookie at the hotel. Plan ahead to find a grocery store but be advised that the fridge in the room has only one setting and will freeze anything you put into it into a rock. The convenience store across the street has Rice Krispie Treats, thank heavens!!!
There's a reason it is cheaper

On a weekend, this hotel was being managed by two minors (both under 21). There was a guest with 5 out of control children, and nothing was done about the screaming and running up until past 10PM.
The hotel is nothing like the advertisement. I would not stay here again for free.

We stayed one night and this was a great room for the money. Clean and comfortable. No complaints at all!

Lodge was OK - overall the physical facilities were a couple of years past the time for refurbishment. Room had an odor of garlic and the hallway carpet had lots of stains. The desk help were great and the inn was a couple of blocks from the downtown area with some great restaurants. Arches National Park is only a couple of miles way so very convenient.
Great stay! Great Value!

Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Great value for not much money. We stayed two nights. The regular rooms are quite small, but there are only two of us and we travel on a motorcycle - so we were in town to see the sites, not sit around at the motel. Probably should spring for the suite if you are traveling with children. We didn't use the pool but it was in a clean spacious area. No complimentary breakfast (they do have 24 hr free coffee) - but with the savings over other hotels we were able to get a good breakfast at the old jail house with money left over. Hotel is about a block from all the shops and restaurants (about three blocks from Jay's Pasta - a real dining surprise - we ate there both nights). We'll rate this hotel quite high, just because the best stay is one without surprises or bad experiences. If you're looking for a luxury hotel then this is not it, but if you need a good comfortable place to stay after a full day of site seeing, then this is it! We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Moab.
