Hotel is well located for business around the Southside of Jacksonville. Lots of food options close by (Applebees next door) and right off of JTB and I95. The cont breakfast featured make-your-own waffles and biscuits & gravy, nice change from the cereal & danish I expected (they had that as well) Very clean, I'll stay there again if i'm in that area.

The hotel staff was GREAT!!!! She was very helpful and did everything that she could to help with the children and getting around town. She gave us referrals to places to eat and directions where we needed to go .

We had a pleasant stay at the Jameson in Jacksonville. The staff was nice and helpful. I have a thing about cleanliness for hotel rooms and the room looked clean, the sheets smelled clean, the towels and washcloths smelled clean, but something in the bathroom smelled sour and the floor was sticky, so I bought a can of scrubbing bubbles and sprayed it and wiped it down, even the shower curtain. The breakfast left alot to be desired, but for the price we can't complain. There are a couple of resturants in walking distance.
We would stay here again.

Front desk wan't very friendly. Rooms were nice. Good value. We had problems in our room with getting access on our computer.
Clever use of space

For the price, the room design and comfort was excellent. The room was not that large in terms of square footage but it was well designed making use of the space available. For example, concealed behind the almost-full-length mirror is an ironing board. Also, the shower/toilet area is separate from the sink and vanity -- a real plus if two people are sharing the room.
The front desk staff was especially helpful and pleasant.
