I have stayed at this very hotel 3 times in the past three years. Their staff is friendly and responsive and their rooms are great for a family travelling. This past week we stayed at the hotel again. When we got to our room their was a note on the bed mentioning that there had been break in to autos and that you should remove absolutely everything from your vehicle. We complied and unloaded everything. Unfortunately when we got up in the morning, the passenger side window was broken and our vehicle had been gone through. Except for the damage, nothing much of value was taken except a flashlight, jumper cables, and a CD changer, they tried to take the radio but were unable to get it out of the dash.
The parking lot is poorly lit, and even with all the lighting working it would not be a good place. Given the notice we were assigned a room in the farthest corner of the hotel where the lighting was the worst and the doors into the hotel which are supposed to be locked are not.
This place is not safe until they improve the lighting in the parking lot and fix their outside doors so they lock properly.
