Our unit is in an area across the street from the main building. The area is actually made up of a number of cottage units varying in size from studio to two bedrooms. Included in this area are two pools and three large spas. Also a free laundry room is located within this area. The accommodations across the street in the main building are made up of studio and one-bedroom units, some of which are mountain view.
We are staying in one of the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom units, called a Wimbledon Unit. The master bedroom is very large with room for not only a king size bed and other expected furnishings but also a nice stuffed chair.
The second bedroom contains twin beds, and an ample size closet. Both bathrooms have a bathtub and single sink. The living room contains a comfortable sofa that converts into a queen size bed.
The kitchen has all the items necessary to cook a meal and all the appliances are in excellent condition. This unit has a very large private patio with a table and four chairs and beautiful views of the mountains.
The entertainment for this unit includes a television in the living room and in each bedroom, all with remote control, a VCP in the living room and clock radios in each bedroom. We did not have a CD/tape player or stereo unit. Local telephone calls, within an approximate 12 mile radius, are free of charge. Telephones can be found in the living room as well as both bedrooms. A ceiling fan in the dining room helps to keep the temperature cool, especially in the summer when the air conditioner is working overtime. Housekeeping will come by each day and empty the trash and they do a mid-week linen change.
For those needing to stay in touch with family and friends or perhaps do some work, there is a computer set up in the lobby area that has internet capability. I noticed some usage, but it was not overly busy. In addition to the computer, the lobby and the mezzanine area just above the lobby are WI-FI active. I took my laptop to both locations and got a very good, fast connection. The signal is also very good from the street in front of the lobby.
The resort offers a tremendous amount of things to do on a daily basis. For example, on Saturday they offered Continental Breakfast, sand candle making activity, flower pot painting, ping pong, afternoon movie, ice cream social, bingo and some time for a get together to meet your neighbors. These types of activities go on all week long. A daily activity schedule is left on the door of each unit in the afternoon, for the following day’s activities.

The primary reason I return each year is that there are over 10 tennis courts and if you get to the office by 7:45am, you can sign up for a court where they will match you up with comparable opponents. We didn''''t get there that early and they were still able to get us matches for each of the three times we requested them!
I also like the adults-only pool area. The pool was not crowded and the setting is beautiful. The lounge chairs all have thick pads so they are very comfortable. The other pool area (for adults and kids) is larger and also nice. The vegetation around the pool was indicative of the extra touches that make this resort a plus.
The rooms have everything you need and everyday there is some sort of service (towel exchange and make-up the beds) and halfway through is a thorough cleaning. One evening, after dinner, most of the tennis team came over for a drink and the living room/dining room comfortably held 8 adults.
Our room had a small balcony that overlooked one tennis court. You also got a great view of the mountain, which appears to come right to the door of your unit.
The resort has a very welcoming check-in area which is open 24-hours a day. The staff were always courteous and helpful. From the desk you can get a key to the fitness center which has a treadmill, eliptical machine, recumbent bike, free weights, and a few exercise machines.
The resort has many activities for the guests. It is cute that each night, a flyer is put on your door that lists all of the activities for the next day.
The location is great so we were able to walk to restaurants most evenings.
The only negative I would say about the resort is that it is aging and the rooms need an overhaul. The furniture was OK, but much older than our other condo. The heating/air conditioning system needs work.
