IDEAL LOCATION

The Allerton is located in the perfect downtown location for an unbeatable price. Rooms are very small but updated & clean. Good service. Only major complaints: slow elevators and expensive parking.

Great location. We were right on the Magnificent Mile and close to restaurants along Rush Street. Room was smaller than a basic hotel room but comfortable. We were given a free upgrade to a king size bed upon arrival. Bed was extremely comfortable. Elevators were small but fine. Would definitely stay there again.

I got there, room not ready had to wait four hours, at around 6pm it was finally ready, elevator super slow and small. staff way rude, unless you want to suffer stay here. location is I have to say excellent. I had to leave the same day as soon as I checked in, I waited for four hour for room to be ready then I get room in front of the elevator when ask for a diff room, no way unless you want to wait an hour or so they said, terrible experience ever.

Great Stay

Lovely older hotel in the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Lots to see and do within walking distance. I parked my car on day one and picked it up when I left. The food was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing that would have been better would have been free high speed internet, which was available in some of the other hotels, but I didn't mind paying the *. I had a clean, updated room with a nice view, and despite being directly across from the elevators it was surprisingly quiet. From the valet to the concierge, bellmen and the entire staff, well done. A lovely place to stay away from home that didn't have that chain hotel feel.

Although the hotel has been attractively remodeled, I had bug bites in the morning. My room was changed the second night.
