Small but comfortable

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 13, 2011
Quote: I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was helpful, but not overbearing. The only real trouble we had while staying there was issues with ordering movies which was never resolved. Otherwise our stay was enjoyable.

Fourth of July in Chicago

  • 5 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 12, 2011
Quote: The hotel is in a perfect location for all Magnificent Mile adventures. Like other city hotels of its age, the room was small and very well kept. Small rooms are what I like because I don't want to spend money on square footage I will only be awake... Read the full The Allerton Hotel review

This hotel made it lots of fun being in Chicago for the historic snowstorm of 2011!

Quote: We arrived from Japan for a week long conference. The staff helped to secure additional suites for family members to join us on the weekend. Both the rooms and the staff were great! Even though much of the city shut down due to the historic snow... Read the full The Allerton Hotel review

Great price for the location!

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 12, 2011
Quote: The rooms are small and that is the tradeoff for the price in such a great location which is in walking distance to most anywhere you would want to go downtown. It was also very clean and there was a nice bar/restaurant area on first floor to visit... Read the full The Allerton Hotel review

Hotel Allerton

Quote: The hotel was a very nice modern hotel. It went along perfectly for the whole Chicago experience. We were a little surprised by the size of the room. It was a bit smaller then what we were expecting but then again we weren't there to hang out in the... Read the full The Allerton Hotel review

excellent location

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 12, 2011
Quote: The rooms are small, and the elevators are extremely small and slow. The location is excellent - right in the middle of the Magnificent Mile, easy access to L. Very tastefully decorated. Coffee in lobby, or even a simple "hello" as you walked... Read the full The Allerton Hotel review
