Nice hotel, close to campus

This was a nice hotel. The rooms were updated and are in good shape. Very clean. Had a nice breakfast bar in the morning. The hotel had a pool and there happened to be A LOT of kids there that weekend. It was kind of loud when the kids ran through the hall and the elevator was always wet from dripping kids coming from the pool--but they looked like they were having a blast so it was hard to be too critical! The TV was small and older, but we left early in the morning so it wasn't a big deal. The bathroom was nice and big, though, with a nice shower and the curved shower curtain that gives you a lot of elbow-room, which was appreciated by my husband who is very tall. Overall, a very good experience.

This was a short overnighter to Columbus. The hotel is an easy on & off 71. Clean & comfy.
Had to wait awhile to check in due to a hockey team checking in before me.
My only complaint bananas were the only fresh fruit on the breakfast bar.

Clean hotel that was close to OSU. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds and pillows. Would stay here again. We checked out other hotels close by and were very happy we picked this one.

Came to Columbus to go to the Ohio State Fair. Had reservations at another hotel by the fair grounds, but due to the awful conditions of the hotel had to move my family to a better hotel. The staff at the Holiday Inn express was very helpful. Let me look at the room before making my reservation so that I could see that the room was clean. Everyting was great during our stay. Everything was very clean and so was the pool area. We will absolutly come back to this hotel next time we are in Columbus. I do not need anymore filthy surprises.

Doing the College Tour Thing with 2 Families so have stayed at all sorts of hotels near Universities. This was by far the best. Big rooms, new/super comfortable beds, fluffy towels, cystral clean ... everything. And while the hotel is right off the expressway it is set back enough that it was quiet. Fantastic free breakfast; 2 kinds of eggs, sausage, huge cinnamon rolls, cereal, several fresh fruits, 3 juices, milk and more, plus they had a person to refill items if they ran out. Just a few blocks drive to OSU. Plus the manager and staff were very busy checking to assure everything was OK. Only negative is there is no where to walk around outside; neighborhood is mix of Wendy's, auto repair and older homes
Will definitely stay in this hotel again and again if OSU is on our family's future.
