The food in the restaurant is beyond bad. I ordered a pasta with pesto sauce - the pesto sauce was cream of mushroom soup. The service was really poor, It's interesting because the employees were friendly, but the laziest people I've ever seen. In addition, the wake up call we asked for was never made. Luckily we didn't sleep well and woke up on our own. Oversleeping would have made our trip to Alexandria a complete waste of time.
Great work guys!!!

This hotel went the extra mile in many aspects of my stay. From the housekeeper to the front desk and everyone in between. I had a great stay at this hotel. I come to Alexandria often and I normally stay on MacArthur Dr. but I love this Downtown hotel. They had a great breakfast and a Manager's Reception in the evening with a bar and complimentary food ( and live music in the lounge) All in All I was very pleased with this hotel and would tell anyone with confidence that this hotel is worth every penny.

If you like cleanliness, friendly customer service reps, non-allergenic rooms, and working elevators, then this hotel is NOT for you. I HIGHLY suggest going elsewhere. You can find better deals with nicer amenities 5 minutes away on I-49 North. This was the worst hotel experience of my lifr and I will never be back.
