Fabulous View and Location

What a great place to stay! The room was spacious with a patio approximately 30 feet from the water and right next to the swimming pool. Loved the heated bathroom tile. Wish there would have been a microwave because we had to order pizza from room service when my son wanted a late-night snack of microwave popcorn! Service was friendly and helpful. Hotel was just a short drive from the nice downtown area and right next to the Queen Mary. Will definitely stay here again.

The room was very small, TV was also small 20" overall it was a clean room the hotel was close to everthing in Long Beach and good shutle service. The room price was over priced for what you get.

The worst hotel experience in over 20 years. Like pitching a tent in a construction zone.
The first morning, we were awakened at 7:15AM by a group of men yelling in Spanish directly outside our ground level "deluxe bay view room". At 7:30AM the ground began to vibrate and we were subjected to the sound of chain saws cutting leaves off of palm trees directly outside the room. Contacting the front desk, I was told that, yes, sometimes the workmen start early. This lasted of over an hour.
Morning 2 was worse. The leaf cutters were back only this time they started backing up a wood chipper 15 yards from our room. We were awakened by the "beep, beep" of the truck backing up and then the deafening sound of the chipper going to work. It was so loud I could not make a phone call from my room. Outside my room I ran into a hotel employee but, even yelling as loud as we could, we could not hear each other.
I immediately contacted travel website. Nice lady kept saying "I'm sorry" but accomplished nothing. Upon checkout I spoke to the manager about my "hotel experience" and told her I was canceling my payment totravel website.
Seven days later I have heard from neither the hotel or travel website.
Very Nice Long Beach Hotel

Excellent location - great view of downtown Long Beach, within easy walking distance of the Queen Mary, and easy access to I-710 (the Long Beach Freeway) and to downtown Long Beach. Room was very clean and nicely furnished. Maid service was good. Breakfast buffet was very good. Room service was prompt and the food was good. Check-in and check-out process was efficient and the front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. All in all, this is a very nice place to stay if you're visiting the Long Beach area.

I was at first disapointed that this hotel was not on the beach, I had viewed so many on the web that I missed this detail. However we paid a small amount extra to have a water view, the view is absolutely georgous. The hotel sits on a marina, and down from the queen mary cruiseship hotel. Our room was very clean and spacious. We had a small balcony with chairs where we sat and watched the boats come in and out of the marina it was so soothing. We ordered room service many times and the food was excellent and very quick to be delivered. The staff was very helpful, they gave us directions for everyplace we wanted to go. The staff was friendly and very courtious. I would definetely stay here again. The pool lounge chairs are very comfortable. I layed in the sun everyday and you can even order food and drinks delivered poolside. Great hotel. Short drive to hollywood, and beahes. We had a wonderful time.
