This hotel has really deteriorated from the time our daughter enrolled at North Texas. No phone on our room when we arrived this time, just a cord laying on the floor. No phone ever appeared after we notified the front desk. Keycard entry malfunctioned and maintenance had to break a window to gain entry then front desk staff argued about moving us to another room. "Internet rate" room was dank and dark and creepy. Most uncomfortable bed In memory at a hotel. This hotel should have 1star.

Friendly people. Low quality of construction and upkeep. My room was rather noisy being next to an ice machine. Continental breakfast was OK but nothing to write home about.

Our room was adequate for our needs as we were there on business, the front desk was friendly and very accomodating, housekeeping was excellent, these girls were right on top of all our needs and very helpful..
Converted Motel 6?

The hotel must have been a converted Motel 6; the floor felt like we would fall through to the first floor, hot water constantly ran into the tub, it was brought to the attention of the hotel staff but never fixed, toilet wouldn't flush without holding the handle for two minutes. They did respond fairly quickly when the batteries died on the door lock to let us in. The continental breakfast is very minimal compared to other La Quinta's I have stayed at. Overall, this franchise doesn't match the same quality I have experienced and expected from the hotel chain. We would have left, but my wife was upset we would loose our prepaid money. We will stay at a better place next time. BTW, we were afraid to sleep under the covers and went out and bought our own sheets and blankets in order to sleep.
La Quinta Needs An Update

This hotel is in need of an update. We have stayed at La Quinta many times but the hotel did not exhibit the same quality. The breakfast did not include the waffle maker we are used to and lacked in space and presentation. The bathroom was in need of repair and the outside door to our room had an opening at the bottom when closed.
