Location is fine. Bed was fine. Place was clean. Furniture and carpet all need to be replaced. Ice machine didn't work.

This place was very nice, but it needs some repairs/upgrades. The small stove worked well, but it was not bolted to the countertop, so it was sliding while I cooked, and the pot could not sit flush, because of the bent electrical burners. The coffee pot did not work; the electrical outlets on one wall did not work. The hot water ran out after two minutes. The can opener was broken. They had no supplies; you had to request the items, dish soap, paper towels?etc. The place was very clean, and the staff jumped right to what you needed, but the items should already be in the room. Other then that, I would stay again!

We arrived at the hotel late and left early. The little time we had there was excellent. The staf was friendly and it was fairly close to the airport. It included a small living room and a good sized kitchen. Everything in the rooms were very clean. The hallway was old and about to be replaced.

Great place for a vacation stay

We liked the location of this hotel. We stayed here and traveled to other places on day trips. The room was clean and nicely furnished. It had a refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, and two burners along with dishes., also a hair dryer, a iron and ironing board. It also had a kingsize bed and a couch that rools out into a bed. there were two televisions, one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen/livingroom. There were three phones in the room , one in the kitchen, one in the bedroom, and one in the bathroom. This was our second two week stay here. We had our own breakfast in our room and made sandwiiches for lunch to take with us on our day trips.. If you are looking to stay in the hotel for your entire vacation, find another hotel with more things to do. If you are there to see Alaska and are not into camping, this is a great place to stay. There is a Macdonalds in the rear and Moose's Tooth Pizza and pub across the street. Mountains were visable from our room. We did not spend too much time in the room, most of our time was out seeing the great state of Alaska. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel.Stay herre and enjoy what Alaska has to offer.

Not as advertised

Looks like a prison from the outside. Front desk is NOT 24 hour; no dress code for staff. TV in living room did not work properly; no desk lamp and ceiling light was too dim to read by. Could not control the heat; set at 73 degrees and could not be changed. Bed ok, but pillows were very well used and were flat and pretty worthless. No tv listings and TV's were old so did not show what channel you were watching. Only saving grace is the room was pretty clean. Would not stay here again, nor recommend to anyone. Advertised as a 3 star, I would give it no more than a two.
